Elvon Babatunde Jarrett, born on June 7, 1967, in Ibadan, Nigeria, is a seasoned actor, director, producer, and dramatist renowned for his contributions to gospel cinema. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a subsidiary focus in Theatre Arts and a Master's degree in Communication Arts, both from the University of Ibadan. His passion for the arts began during his secondary school years and was further nurtured at the university, where he was actively involved in various performance groups. In 1995, he married Olumide Olatokunbo Jarrett, and together they have four children: Bankole, Emmanuel, Esther, and Ruth. Elvon is also the founder of Friends of God Media, an organization dedicated to producing faith-based content and training the next generation of filmmakers. Throughout his illustrious career, Elvon has featured in numerous impactful films, including *Enemy of My Soul*, *One Careless Night*, and *The Centurion*, where he also served as a director and producer. His commitment to creating content that imparts moral and spiritual lessons is evident in his works. In *Burning Coles* (2022), he portrayed Akin Cole, a pivotal role in this family drama that addresses issues like alcoholism and the power of intercession.
