Kayode Akinbayo

Kayode Akinbayo, often called Bayo Eleregele, is a Nigerian‑born Yoruba film actor who rose to fame playing romantic lead roles alongside stars like Sunkanmi Omobolanle. His breakthrough came with the 2004 film Eleregele, earning him the nickname. After his NYSC, he relocated with his family to Texas, USA, but kept active in Nollywood—frequently cast in romantic and diaspora‑themed roles . Away from the camera, Kayode holds a Master of Science in IT Management from Western Governors University while his wife earned a BSc in Psychology from the University of Houston Downtown—celebrating their graduations together during the pandemic.
